About Me

My name is Lucy Marsden, I’m a 23 year old girl from Kiama living in the big smoke.
I have recently completed a Media and Communications degree with a major of Global Media and Communications as well as minors of Spanish and Linguistics. I am very lucky to be surrounded by some incredible people in my life. I have amazing parents and friends, and they are the most important things to me in the world.

I have an outrageous obsession with the brand Tigerlily, and the contents of my wardrobe are probably worth more than my car. However, needing to have the newest Tigerlily ensemble is in competition with my desperation to save money and get out and see the world. I previously travelled to Spain to study, followed by a trip to the Amalfi Coast with my three best friends. Last year, I travelled to Scandinavia, Russia, the Baltic States and Germany among others.

My music taste is so varied it’s a tad outrageous. Beyonce and the Foo Fighters are the two best live acts I’ve seen and you can sometimes observe me belting out a song from either artist in the car on the way to work.

I’m an only child, who loves to dance and sing and read. I also love writing lists.
I took 4 units of English at school only to come to uni and discover I didn’t actually even like English. I spent my whole life wanting to be a lawyer only to come to uni as a law student and hate it. I’m very conscious of the role that I play in making the world a better place, and that is something that I try and live my life by. I consider myself lucky to be constantly changing and growing and have given myself the challenge to continue to do so for the rest of my life.
